Although South Africa has changed a lot since I got here , you will often find pockets of old South Africa, where the maid is in the kitchen , with a faded apron/old uniform on , this one caught my attention in particular, as the wooden floor boards were completely sunken under her feet. How many hours did she spend there washing ? I wondered, Primrose.
