Out there on the banks of Langebaan lagoon lies a tiny fishermen's village. Time stands still there, many of the youngsters have left , and only a handful of old-timers occupy the old cottages, live a humble life, like generations before them. Lois stayed across the small gravel road from Winnie, everyday he would shuffle over to Winnie and stay way past tea time..at 12.55 Winnie would chase him back to his house, and at 13,05 she would shuffle over to his place to see what he is having for lunch..
