#179 Kestrels nesting in the hole up in the tower Cape Agulhas lighthouse 2002
Medium: Ink,water colours and acrylic on paper
Original Size: 297x420mm
For years, I used to tag along on surf trips and find my heavenly inspirations around surf places. As I got more into my ''LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT'' I initiated a painting outing , we packed the car with kids and food and art supplies and set out to Cape Agulhas , most southern tip of the continent ..
The lighthouse there was fascinating, the sandstone all crumbly , Kestrels nesting in the tower and a most enriching museum on the ground floor shared stories and hidden facts regarding light houses all over the country.
